Last night, after working some more on my checkers algorithm, before going to bed I decided to unwind by playing a little Destiny 2. With checkers and Destiny 2 on my brain, I had a dream in which I was analyzing the gameplay of my checkers agent when I suddenly realized I hadn’t implemented the Golden Gun super. The remainder of that little dream was figuring out the best way to implement and reward the agent for when to use Golden Gun in a game of checkers.

They say that sleeping and dreaming helps you sort through problems you’re trying to solve. I’m not so sure.
