Refactoring Checkers
It’s a new year. I’m too busy, but now that the holiday craziness is over it’s time to hunker down and do what I decided: refactor my home-grown checkers game-playing mechanics to play games in parallel rather than sequentially. It promises to be a tedious process but in the spirit of looking for silver linings, while I wouldn’t call how I’m feeling “excited,” I’m taking satisfaction that this interminable exercise is going t give me the opportunity not only to refine my code, but also to document it better than I did (yes, comments) and in the process, refresh my understanding of it.
